Van Helsing's 1897 Car

Creating and modeling Van Helsing's car was a fast-paced and rewarding experience. This started as a last minute request to take some previous 2D designs and update them for new story requirements. The shots in the movie were going to start production quickly, so any work I could do to iterate and turnover a production ready asset helped meet the tight deadline.

Atlantis Secret Passageway

Another request from the story department was to figure out how this secret passage entrance would operate and function for a specific gag. This was modeled and textured to allow me to perform interactive sessions with the production designer and art director, so we could quickly change ideas as we sprinted toward a director pitch.

Van Helsing Helicopter and Sidecar Attachment

Another last minute request was creating a secondary prop for Van Helsing for the purpose of a new story moment. The original Van Helsing Iron Lung was modeled by the amazing Omar Smith. The request here was to create a flying helicopter and sidecar attachment that Van Helsing's daughter would have used in her youth. The challenge here was to create something a child could use, but still fit an adult for story purposes.
